And I hear you that this was his eighth time, the whole situation shouldn’t have existed. The guy should have been put away after the first time! I loath that stuff exists in our world. Being a victim on several occasions, and being a mother of girls I get fired up too. Personally I think the punishment for sexual predators needs to be increased across the board. I believe people who take the law into their hands needs to be reprimanded too. I understand why those girls did that, I understand when people or parents kill the attackers walking out of the court room. BUT neither is right and rules are rules with no exceptions. It is this type of exception, this type of accepting wrong behavior, that I am disagreeing with. I think this kind of prescient contributes to the growing crime rate. It is the LACK of punishment for BOTH crimes that gets my goat. Obviously if it is in self defense that is different, (in those situations I hope the women not only hurt the bastards defending themselves, I hope they kill em) but that isn’t what was happening in this situation. I know sounds like a weird oxymoron belief system, but it is mine. *grin*
