Change of seasons

witchiepoo's picture

We are all so tired lately. I think it's the change of seasons. It's dark when we wake up and dark so early in the evening. We're getting our first snow too, so the clouds don't help. The time change Sunday is most unwelcome. I agree with the flybabies, it's good soup weather. I think tomorrow will be a ssslllooowww simmer chicken, veggie and barley day. I grew up in the southwest, and I really think the transition to winter effects me more than the native New Englanders. Oh well, only 6 more months until spring!Eye-wink

soup

I too like to make soup when fall is upon us Smiling I love the warmth of the kitchen and the leftovers.

I think our childhood memories affect us and how we feel about fall,,possibley the holidays coming and snow to play in,,,I as an adult can do without the snow but kids love it.
