What Is RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication." From Wikipedia:

[W]eb syndication refers to making Web feeds available from a site so other people can display an updating list of content from it (for example one's latest forum postings, etc.). This originated with news and blog sites but is increasingly used to syndicate any information.

So how can you take advantage of these web feeds, from TNH or anyone else? You get a software program called a news aggregator for your computer. With an aggregator, you can then subscribe to TNH's feeds, or any other news feed on the Internet, and have the news and headlines delivered to your desktop when you're ready to read them. Wikipedia maintains an extensive list of news aggregators for all computer platforms, including ones you can access online.
