Triple Berry Sauce (fantastic for T.giving!)

Ingredients

  • finely grated/miced zest of one orange
  • 1 c. cranberry juice
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 lb. cranberries
  • 1 c. dried cherries
  • finely grated/miced zest of one orange
  • 1 c. cranberry juice
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 lb. cranberries
  • 1 c. dried cherries

Instructions

Combine first 5 ingredients in saucepan over medium heat; heat until berries pop

Skim any foam that has formed

Stir in cherries and allow to cool to room temperature

Cover and refrigerate until serving.

Notes

I'm told this keeps for a month, so make it now and have it ready for the big day! Or just eat it -- yummmy!

That sounds fantastic. Found it too late for Thanksgiving, but I am sure I will have other uses for it. I am curious though, where are the three berries?
