Eleven years ago this week, The New Homemaker was born. Josie was about 18 months old, Louisa was a wish, and my life was very different.

Josie is now twelve and a half. She is as tall as I am, and by the end of the year will probably loom over me. Louisa is past my shoulder, and turns nine next month, if you can believe it.

TNH has survived economic catastrophes, disk crashes, pregnancy, critical illnesses, and stuff you'll never know about. Here we are, eleven years later.

So, the kids moved in last week, we're on day nine of being a family of five.

When I was visiting some kinfolks in Southwest Missouri a while back,I went to church with them.I couldn't help but notice their very big-busted organist.

Many years back my 45 year old girlfriend had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital. While
on the operating table she had a near death experience. Seeing God she asked

INVISIBLE LOLZ!

Totally invisible, because I'm miserable. I've been trying to muster the energy to update the software here, and I just haven't had it. Now I know why. I'll try to make sure JJ goes through the comments queue tomorrow morning.
