Description

Less a recipe, more an idea to use when making apple pie.

Ingredients

  • 1⁄2 c brown sugar
  • 1⁄2 c white sugar
  • 1⁄2 t nutmeg
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 1 oz brandy
  • 1 oz Triple Sec
  • apples for pie

Instructions

Prepare your apples as you usually would for pie (you'll need about 4 cups of sliced apples), and macerate in the above ingredients. Fill your pie and bake as usual.
