Soap to Nuts

Soapnuts are the shells of a seed that grows wild in India and Nepal that actually suds up. You put 4-8 half-shells--not the seeds--in the wash in a little cotton bag and boom, clean clothes. You can use them to wash dishes, windows and other stuff too. Weird!

How to buy in the USA?
That article links to two UK stores to buy them. Where to buy in the USA? I found one store, www.zamuta.com, that sells 1 kilo for $30 but they're currently out of stock. Can't find any other US sellers. Cool news, if you wash your laundry on cool or warm you can reuse the nuts up to three times! Hot water wash, one use. I'd like to try these. Wonder if there are any on eBay. [edit: all the ones on eBay are in the UK too]

Well
We do have a UK contingent. Maybe if you sent the money to Zillah or Honey they'd send some to you?
