My mom asked me that this morning and it dawned on me that not everyone knows! And why should they? Not everyone is a hacker housewife like me. Ebooks are electronic texts made to be read either on your computer or printed out. All of the ebooks we sell here at TNH are in PDF, which stands for Portable Document Format. To read them you will need a PDF reader. Adobe Acrobat is the most famous PDF reader. It comes in versions for just about every operating system, and it's 100% free. If you have a Mac, it has a built-in PDF reader called Preview. Many portable handheld devices like PDAs also can store and read in PDF format. So now you know!
