2 lbs. lean hamburger
2 eggs
2 pieces white bread; cut into cubes
milk
ketchup
salt and pepper to taste
Beat eggs. Add bread cubes. Add enough milk to moisten, but not soak bread. Add hamburger; squish together with hands. Season to taste. Put into slow cooker/crock pot and flatten with hands until completely covers bottom. Pour ketchup over meat; enough to cover. Cover and cook on low for eight (
to twelve (12) hours.
Notes: I have substituted crackers for the bread and salsa for the ketchup. Both works well.
