Instructions
If you are a child: Go out in the garden, swing for a while, and when you get hungry go to the radish bed. Pick as many radishes and thinnings as you can put in a pocket made with the hem of your skirt. Forget to knock the mud off your boots and make a huge mess in the back porch. Be so cheerful about your haul of beautiful pink, white, red and purple radishes it doesn't really matter about the mud.
For everyone: Wash the radishes and greens well, trim off the root hairs. Cut the radishes from the greens BUT DO NOT THROW AWAY THE GREENS. Roughly chop the greens and slice the radishes and put them all in a bowl. Drizzle with honey and rice wine vinegar, salt and pepper to taste. Toss well. Eat!
Notes
Josie (age 7) came up with this recipe entirely by herself; she sprung the result on me one afternoon. She's seen me make little salads of radish leaves to serve with sliced radishes and buttered bread and decided to try her hand at creating her own, better version. It's actually really good!

"wow! I have a webpage now!"
and also, "that recipe is exactly right."

Josie - I actually had this just last night but without the
honey! I must try it with honey next time! Thanks for sharing.
By the way I have loved radishes since I was 7 too.
