I cannot recommend this book highly enough
Yep, it's scary reading sometimes, but ultimately Gavin De Becker leaves you with a sense of hope. You CAN raise kids to be aware of danger without jumping at every shadow. His books are very empowering; they really give you permission to trust your gut instincts.
