The Sandman: Endless Nights

If you know who Neil Gaiman is, you already want this hardbound graphic novel of new stories about the Endless. if you don't know who Neil Gaiman is, beg, borrow, buy or steal the Sandman series of comics and be beguiled. Even if you think you don't like comics, you'll like the Sandman. (He's written several wonderful novels, too.)

In Lynn's blog I mentioned that this book was "brutally beautiful", and I meant it. I would finish one section of the book, pause, cry for 2 minutes or so, pick it up, and start on the next one. Sometimes because they were truly heartbreaking (particularly the section on Despair), but sometimes because they were so insanely beautiful, such as Dream's story.
