bike basket
I'm sure I have seen a pattern for a bike basket made out of plastic bags. I can't find it anywhere, though...does anyone know of one?

how was it made?
I would imagine crocheting one would be pretty easy, and it'd be durable too. Any crochet pattern would work.

Reviving old post!
I know this is a really old post, but I thought this was a great idea! I did a search and learned how to harvest plastic bags into "yarn" to use for making baskets, etc. What an AWESOME idea!

I used to have a pattern
...for crocheting floor rugs out of plastic bags. But I don't crochet, so I bet I flung it.
CROCHET PATTERN FOR SHAWL W/ EYELASH YARN
Does anyone have a pattern for a shawl or poncho using the eyelash yarn.preferably with brenat eyelash? Thanks bunches.
You can use plastic bags with almost any pattern...
I've made rugs for outside decks with doily patterns, LOL. It just comes out...bigger, LOL.
I've seen people make the hats for wall decorations with them, holiday patterns are neat, because they can be put outside and are nearly indestructable.
You do need a lot of bags though, but works up quickly, and that is a plus.
Considering the supplies are free, I'd say it's worth trying at least once.
