Why I love this time of year...
...wrapped up in a warm cardi, fire blazing in the grate and fireworks popping and whizzing outside (unfortunately we did ours last night and got severely rained on!!), nice pot of tea and the weekend papers.

Going to work in the dark, coming home in the dark...... actually going to work at all, but that's a whole-year thing

I'm with you on the pot of tea and papers though - for us it's Rooiboos and The Saturday Telegraph General Knowledge crossword.
We do it every Saturday without fail. I think I may be getting old......

after scorning the rest of my family for years for drinking 'pondwater' I have finally persevered and got into it, as I was drinking far to much caffeine, found it looseleaf in the health food shop so still have my teapot ritual!
