Beware angry dairy farmers

I know the assaulting of police officers is not funny.
I know that the very real anger and pain the farmers have is not amusing.
But this photo--I had to laugh.

"A farmer sprayed milk on policemen during a protest against falling milk prices outside the E.U.’s headquarters in Brussels, where agricultural ministers discussed its policies at an emergency meeting."

I sure hope milk prices come up for the dairymen. Even though we haven't seen prices come down on the grocery shelves, the dairy farmers really are hurting. I live in a county with alot of large dairies (we are talking on average 2,000+cows each, all family owned). Quite a few are going out of business, and this hurt ME because my hubby raises hay for them. We had a decent crop this year, and are praying that their are dairies that are able to pay for it.
Awesome picture, sad story
This picture is pretty amazing. And, honestly, it's probably pretty good publicity for these European dairy farmers who are at an economic standstill. The farmers do blame the EU's lack of regulation for many of their current problems (namely, falling prices and lack of considerable profits).
There is an interesting video on this whole dairy ordeal at newsy.com. The video looks at the controversy surrounding these farmers and the EU, citing different perspectives and sources. It's short and worth watching if you have a few minutes:

Personally?
I see an idea for nurse-in protesters.
