Grout Cleaner/Vinegar???
Hi there,
Love this website. Just found it. So much good information Thank you.
We are stumped. We have a tile floor. It's really beautiful. Made to look like a stone courtyard so there are many wide (half inch to 1 inch) grout tracks. They are a light gray. Where we walk, the grout gets VERY soiled. We have used professional grout cleaners. Fairly successful BUT backbreaking. Two weeks later we are back with the same problem. This question, I know, is from outer space but would some sort of mixture of vinegar and whatever be any good. Then maybe we could put some sort of sealer on it. Any ideas.
Thanks a bunch!

Baking Soda/Dish Soap
I'm not sure about tile floors, but tile in the bathroom responds very well to a paste of baking soda and a few drops of liquid dish soap.

I sounds like your grout is not sealed. Try sealing it after you clean it next time. You can find grout sealants at home depot or lowes.
