Ingredients:
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup pecan halves, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 pinch baking powder
1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
4 cups blueberries
1 pound peaches, cut in large dice
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon orange juice
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175° C).
Place the brown sugar, pecans, flour, oats, cinnamon, ginger, salt and baking powder in a medium-size bowl and mix until thoroughly combined. Add the butter and mix until crumbly.
Combine the fruit with the flour and sugar and mix well. Add the orange juice. Pour the blueberry mixture into a baking pan.
Place the oat mixture on the top and bake until the fruit is bubbly and the topping is golden brown, about 40 minutes. Serve either hot out of the oven or at room temperature.
