old-school
A friend of mine is a BIG fan of Hannah Montana. I have relised all the girls I know like, Hannah Montana, while me and Lou like the
Monkees, Heart, and Beatles.
Songs your girls might like ( I don't know if boys would like these ):
HEART:
Little Queen, Crazy On You, Little Dreamer.
BEATLES ( from Sgt. Pepper's Lonley Hearts Club Band ):
Little Help From My Friends, Lucy In The Sky With Diamones, Sgt. Pepper. ( reprise too. )
MONKEES:
Day Dream Beliver, This Just Dosn't Seem to be my day, Sometime In The Morning, ( Look Out ) Here Comes Tomorow.

Oldies rock!
I think you have good taste!
I always liked the oldies, too, even as a kid. My parents always listened to Simon and Garfunkel, Peter, Paul, and Mary, and classical music. As I got older I added ABBA and Creedence Clearwater Revival to my list...but you might be a little young for some of their songs!
And then one day you realize the songs you listened to in junior high and high school are now on your favorite oldies/classic rock station! Happened to my husband the other day when he came home sighing about REM's End of the World as We Know It being classic rock.
