When are they going back?

We started last week. Last Thursday and Friday. This week they only go three days (out Thursday because of county fair, out Friday because, well, because it's Friday). The following week is our first whole week (including Friday, dangum it!). But our school usually has all Friday's off, we usually go 4 days a week (longer school day, 8:05-3:50, but worth it for a 3 day weekend every week).

I think the kids were ready to go back more than I was. They do love school, guess it's because it the only time they have other people to play with besides each other. LOL!

I loved school as a kid. I had alot of friends to play with outside of school too. I think I liked school because we always had pizza and ice cream parties

DD18 has had two days of college orientation but starts classes on Monday.

DD13 starts eighth grade on Monday, too.

I have workshops and opening meetings Monday and Tuesday and get students on Wednesday.

We're all ready to go back to school!

We came back last Monday. By Friday, we were all exhausted. Long week! I like coming back on Wednesdays and easing in to it. I got a great class this year. I teach 2nd grade.

The kids (including mine) are all glad to be back!
