Beginning Homeschooling Adventure With Teens

Hi Everybody,

I always look forward to the comments I recieve from my New Homemaker friends. Here it is, I am contemplating homeschooling my son that is getting ready for high school. This year he was affected by a test called the CRCT. It is known in Georgia. It is a test given at the end of the school year by the board and if your child fails, even if they passed all of their classes in school with A's and B's, they will be held back. My son is studying to take the test again after summer school but I am really thinking hard about homeschooling. All the distractions, peer pressure etc., I don't think he is ready for the high school enviromment. I found a homeschool program that I might be interested in. So my questions are, 1. Is there anyone out there that started homeschooling with high school kids? 2. Any comments or suggestions for me? 3. Have you ever heard or used the homeschooling program by the name of " The Morningstar Academy" (www.themorningstaracademy.com)and if you did, what are your feedback.
