Woo Hoo! Goodbye size 24, hello size 22!

Well, the pounds keep melting off! I went to landsend.com a couple weeks ago to buy two new swimsuits for the summer and found, much to my surprise, I was now a size 22! (That's down 35 pounds and two dress sizes.)

Though I've been losing weight for months, it's only been since I dropped to a size 22 that I've "felt" thinner. My pants are loose, some are too loose to wear anymore, my shirts fit me much better now, and I think I can see a difference in my face--I don't feel bloated anymore, just an indefinable "thinnier" feeling.

I'm really looking foward to summer and to watching the numbers on the scale get lower and lower!

Wouldn't you know it, though? Last year I finally got rid of the box of my size 22 clothes, thinking I'd never see that size again. D'oh!

Luckily, most of my summer clothes have drawstrings, I should be able to make do for a while longer before I'm forced to buy smaller sized clothes.

I lost about 20lbs last year, then put about 9 back on, but am back on the wagon again now.

I also got fitted properly for a bra recently for the first time and it's amazing how much slimmer I look and feel in the right sized bra! I have been wearing three back sizes too big and three cup sizes too small!!

Honey.

Good on you for getting fitted, a properly fitted bra is a blessing and no mistake if you're a well endowed lass. It makes a big difference how your shirts and dresses drape on you, doesn't it?

When I was getting fitted for my wedding dress many years ago I was terribly dissapointed in the way the bodice looked, not knowing that it was because of an ill-fitting bra. I got a new bra that fit very well just before our wedding and when I put the wedding dress on the morining of the ceremony, ta-da! I looked like a million bucks, the bodice was beautiful. I've been a maniac for properly fitted bras ever since.

Good for you! Feeling better about how you look, or knowing that you look good makes a big difference, and it's not shallow, either.

I feel fab, mostly, except for this cold, but otherwise, FAB!
