I cant believe its been over a year that Ive been on here. I remember the support I got from here and I miss it! Sad

Well we are still in Washington and I still love it!! My kiddos have grown up tons! DS17 is 6'3 DS14 is 6'0 DS12 is 5'11 and my DD is now 8! Geez how fast they grow!! We bought a Baskin Robbins Ice Cream store about a year ago so Ive gone to work fulltime for the first time in my life!! It was a hard adjustment for me and the family. But i think we're doing pretty well. I only work until the kids are out of school so it works out pretty well.

As for my job..........I love it!! I get to build and decorate Ice cream cakes! I am getting paid to do something I love to do. And I do the books for the store. Hubby hires, fires, and does all the ordering but we both work behind the counter.

I need to start flying again so...............................IM BAAAAAAACK!!!!!!

Hi amy! Welcome back!
I'm jealous on the BR thing. We haven't had one of those around here in about 8 years. I miss 'em. Especially Chocolate Moose Royale!! OMG, that is my FAVORITE!! I may just have to drive a couple hours to get me some (well, maybe not. But will have to find one my next trip to Lubbock).

I've wondered from time to time how you've been up there in Washington State! Welcome back, Amee!

I understand the dropping off the site because of work, I went back to work part time this summer and didn't post for months. The only reason I'm posting now is that I got one of DH's laptop castoffs, had him set it up with wireless networking, and can go online in my kitchen, living room, anywhere. So here I am, back, too!

My old boss, who ran a jewelry store for several years, sold it to a relative and went in to the ice cream biz. Actually, he got into a TCBY if I remember right. He'd talked about it for years, his reasons for wanting to open an ice cream store: a) you can't return an ice cream you bought a couple days ago because you and your girlfriend got in a fight, b) no one puts ice cream on layaway. Two of his pet peeves. Last I heard he was very happy!

Congrats and best wishes for your family! I look forward to hearing from you again! Welcome "home"!

Do let us know how your homeschooling adventures unfold with a teenager. Most of my homeschooling friends have younger children, so I'm curious!

I still keep in the back of my head that I may end up homeschooling DD7. I'm keeping my heart open to many different potential outcomes, since my job is a little shaky right now, and other stuff.

How exciting for your family! Best wishes.
