Hello TNH friends. I can't believe how much time has passed since I've posted. Gosh! I miss you all! I'm putting this in blog rather than in the forums because I just didn't know where I "fit" these days.

We're just home from the end-of-the-season Marching Band concert. Hard to believe that the past 4 years have gone by so fast. (DD17 is a senior this year!) We actually have a year "off" from relentless fall band-parenting next year, as DD12.5 won't start marching band until fall of 2009!

The school where I teach has made it to state playoffs so football season continues there. They will play tomorrow night. DD17 has a group of friends coming over so I'm not going to the game, but it will be televised and I'll be watching! I teach about half the starting line-up (12 football players total) a bunch of band members and three cheerleaders. I've tried to make it to at least one activity for each group in which I have students and so far that also included vollyball, girls soccer, and cross country! I also had students in the fall drama production, orchestra, and choir. With my own kiddos "stuff,' the schedule has been pretty full! Now I have to figure out the winter sports, check the rosters and schedule some basketball (boys and girls) wrestling, swimming, diving, and ice hockey! ...one HAS to wonder what brainiac decided that swimming and diving needed to be winter sports in OHIO????? BRRRrrrrrrr! (It looks like we're expecting the first snow sometime next week )

Wow, look at the time!

5:15 am comes pretty early when I don't get to bed before midnight!
