KidCo Food Mill

In fact, I returned it. It was tremendously difficult to use, even on very soft food and with the stronger arms I'm getting from hefting a 20-lb. baby all day (you have to push the plunger down manually as you crank). It was also tremendously messy and leaked when I tried to pour the food out of the cup into ice cube trays--I can't believe they think you should be able to take it with you out somewhere. The cylinder underneath doesn't hold very much, so if you're going to make much food, you'll have to make it in batches, which means taking the messy food mill completely apart to refill it (more mess). The part that holds the handle on is difficult to lock and unlock, and harder still once there's food all over it. The food mill did work in that it did separate seeds and skins, but there must be food mills out there that are easier to use. I think I'm going to be looking for a more heavy-duty one in the near future, even if it costs a good bit more. It's worth it to avoid the aggravation this one put me through.
