Medical appointment schedule

Hi Everyone -
I'm hoping to get some great suggestions here! How do people keep track of medical appointments besides a calendar? Between my family of four, the dog, and cat, I am having trouble keeping it all straight! I am picturing a printable form or else something online - a page for each person and then sections for physical, dentist, eye Dr., etc. Then i could put dates in as they are completed. I can't find this - I looked on organized home with no luck. I suppose I could make my own - any ideas?

Here's what we do...

I keep a paper list of the appointments in my desk, and THEN (this is the helpful part), I have a dry erase calendar on the wall with ALL family appointments (medical, car maintenance, play dates, etc) that I update once a month. It's a BIG calendar, so I have room to write, and I see it every time I go into the kitchen (it's on the wall by the stove--not too close, I don't want spatters on it!!) Anyhow, this helps us, because EVERYONE can see the appointments and not schedule over things (or double book their mother). We stand at the calendar when on the phone, so we don't plan playdates or other fun things when appointments may be.

I have a friend who also does this, only she is more motivated than I, and each member of the family has a different color marker, so she only has to write the appointment and knows who it is for based on color. I just write their names and do it all in black. Whatever works!

I'm all about Outlook

I use my MS Outlook calendar for everything. You can set reminders years in advance! I print weekly pages on Sunday evenings for my planner (in a daily format), have the DDS write important afterschool stuff in their school planners, and then anything that requires DH's attention/presence gets added to his iGoogle calendar...he uses it for work and I have access to it from home....if I ever have time to really play with the iGoogle print options and find one I like, I may switch to that.

One thing that DOES help is blocking appointments: we all see the dentist at the same time (DH usually at least in the same week) We're on the same schedule for eye exams (DD17 every year (contacts), the rest of us every 2) and DD17 and I are now on the same yearly "wellness" check-up schedule with our medical care provider.

I'm afraid I don't have many appointments to "make," just the basic, dental/medical/eye wellness stuff...our lizard doesn't get shots Smiling so.....I'm not much help!
