The Blog Reader Project survey is ended, and here's who we are [1]. Highlights:

• We're overwhelmingly between the ages of 21 and 45. That's right, yrs trly is out of her own website's demo.
• There are more guys visiting here lurking than you'd suspect--17% of the readership. Speak up, you guys!
• We have a higher income than I expected, which mostly tells me there are a lot of two-income families reading the site. (I'm still keeping the focus on staying home, though everyone's welcome.)
• We're incredibly well-educated.
• We lean left--47% are Democrats, with another almost-7% Greens. Independents make up another 15%, and Republicans are nearly 18% of the readership.
• We are overwhelmingly white, but not as white as I feared.
• Church-going? Not so much. 47% never darken the doors, and another 16% only go a few days a year. We are very nearly every religion and denomination there is, including atheist, animist and Muslim.
• Nearly 2% of you own more than 4 cars. What's up with that!
• Number one reason for reading blogs is teh funny: You like humor.
• 46% of you have a tattoo! Who knew!

As soon as I can find where they've hidden the entries for the giveaway I'll be drawing people at random. Thanks to everyone who filled out the survey! It's a HUGE help to be able to show advertisers this kind of data.
