fell in love with freecycle

Im sure some of you know about this already but just in case any dont and would be intrested, the last few months I have been subscribed to this group called freecycle. The main page where you can see if there is a local chapter near you is www.freecycle.org but then you subscribe to your local group. I dont know how all groups are but the one where I live is great. I have been able to put my declutter to a much better use. Now I have a plastic tub like a storage one and I fill it up and list the stuff once a week and what I dont give away(usually I give away everything) goes out on the curb or if I have time I will donate it to a thrift shop. The best part is the stuff I get in my email. Tons of listings for really useful stuff. I got a wonderful and expensive double stroller and a great oak dresser. My sister has gotten tons of items also. There is no cost and no pressure to donate x amount of items. Just if its listed and you need it respond and if they email you back you go get it. It seems a great solution and has really helped me with keeping cost for things we really need. It also feels really good to know your stuff is going to someone who needs it.
