Laundry help sought!
Help! My sister put a new black gauze skirt in the washer with my pink PJs!!! Can anyone tell me how to save the PJs? I need to do this today! (June 29th) as I am going away tomorrow. I would be eternally grateful for your assistance. These are very expensive PJs! Thanks.

Eek!!! Seems like someone
Eek!!! Seems like someone makes something now to help bled on clothes in the laundry aisle, but no idea what. Maybe try some Oxyclean? Let it soak for a few hours.
If it doesn't work, maybe you can pull off a new color for your pjs and set a fashion trend? I had a white shirt once that had black horses on it back in high school. I got oil on it from the truck and tried to bleach it out (16 year olds know nothing of laundry). It bleached the horses to brown. But everyone loved it and kept asking me where I got it with the brown horses. LOL!
Bleach is your best remedy
Several washings with bleach in the load, but the chances are you won't get the black out. If you're willing to settle for all-white pajamas, Rit makes a dye remover that will take the black out--but also the pink. It should be available at any market that carries Rit. Good luck and I wish I had better advice.

I was just browsing the forums and came across this post. And I'm so happy that I did! I have had this problem before, accidentally throwing something in the washing machine and not realizing it is there. I never knew what I could do to save the piece of clothing. Now I have something I can try. This tip will definitely come in handy
