two ways

1) Go here:

http://www.thenewhomemaker.com/node/add/acidfree

and click on the "acidfree photo" tab.

2) Or use the file attachment on your blog entry. You'll see the URL for the photo appear after you click "upload"; write it like this in your blog to make it appear:

<img src="http://www.thenewhomemaker.com/files/yourfilename" />

and it will appear.

Acidfree Photo Tab is what confused me!

That was where I'd started, but I don't understand all the fields. I get how to upload the photo with the "choose file" button, but there are so many fields. Teaser? Title? Parent Albums? (What's a Parent Album, and why are my choices "Lynn" or "root" and no apparent way to make one called "Becky"?) Description? Weight? (I read the definition of "weight" but it's all about something called "nodes," which in my world are related to the overtone series but I don't think that's what they mean in computer lingo.) And then there are two hot links, one to "Technorati" and one to "File attachments." Am I supposed to click on those? What do I do with them? And once I've figured out what to do with all these fields, will the photos appear in my blog? And do I have to go through the whole process again with every photo?

This is good feedback, thank you

I can simplify that quickly. The easiest thing until then: Ignore everything but "description" and "title." "Parent Album" would be if you have your photos organized into albums; you can ignore it. You can make an album, or you should be able to make one, by going to:

http://www.thenewhomemaker.com/node/add/acidfree

and clicking on the album tab. If there is no album tab, let me know.

Answering your questions anyway even though you don't need to know: A "node" in our content management system is any kind of content that shows up in its own page. "Weight" is where the node shows up in lists. Lighter things float to the top, heavier things sink to the bottom. "Technorati" is a social bookmarking service; tagging things helps others find interesting content (not coincidentally it also helps TNH get traffic), but you don't have to add any of your own tags. "File attachments" shouldn't be there.

You don't really need to worry about any of this.
