lthough housing experts have long thought spring is the most active home buying season, it turns out that summer is even busier. New data from the National Association of Realtors indicates that more people buy and sell homes during the summer months than at any other time during the year.

If you're looking for bargains, you might not find them when the weather is nice. If you can time your move, you may want to shop during the worst days of winter, when sellers aren't as busy and may be more receptive to your offer.
