[1]Sugar Bunny Boulevard is spearheading a drive to knit garter stitch squares for Greensburg, KS [2], the town that was all but destroyed in a very bad tornado last week. The object is to gather enough squares to make a family in the area an afghan, and if more squares come in than are needed for a single one, the organizers will just keep assembling afghans until they run out.
Knitters is crazy. I know, because I have a blanket like this that was started for me when I was sick last year, and it means the world to me. So I know we can send a few squares that way from TNH knitters.
