Once again, my handy-dandy DH saves the day with his power tools. The garden window, lovely as it is, is too deep for me to open and close the side vents. I was very put out when I realized this and asked DH if he could cut a stick for me to use as a lever to open and close the vents. And boy, did he!

He doesn't do things by half measures, he made a grip and rounded off the edges with a router bit. I have dubbed it my Sexy Tool because, it's just so...so!

I love this man. And I love that I can now open my garden window vents!!!
