I'm feeling a lot better today. Still a teeny bit congested and cough-y, but otherwise I feel like myself again.

TADA:

-took out trash and recycling
-Dr. appointment
-unpacked, washed and put away a box of dishes

I think that's enough for now!

Heidi, I think the years are

Submitted by jennye on Fri, 03/02/2007 - 8:07am.

Heidi, I think the years are flying by faster and faster every year. The school year sure didn't go by fast when WE were in school, did it? LOL!

DH is gone! yeah! We are relaxing here today. I did three loads of laundry yesterday, got the kitchen clean after dinner last night. Today I may have to run almost to town to a friends house (DS4's teacher). Her daughter is getting married in a couple weeks, asked me to help her with some things. Not sure if we may do that today or tomorrow. I really gotta clean up some desk stuff today (where did the desk go!?).

Time to feed the kids!

AS always, nix the plans I had yesterday. I've had the chills off and on all day yesterday and today, Drew started in with fever, puke, and the runs. Just pure happiness here! LOL!

Bummer Jenny - hope it

Submitted by Andrea on Sat, 03/03/2007 - 2:17pm.

Bummer Jenny - hope it passes quickly. Let me know how you like your camera - I am looking for a new one to replace our Canon we got 3 or 4 years ago. I need something that does not have much delay time for the sports shots I take of DS10.

I feel the same way about this year Heidi - it has flown by!4 months left of school for us - a little less I guess.

Basketball this am for DS10 and then DD and I shopped - Target, the mall, Old Navy and then home. I am pooped. Picked up a few things for our trip - we are traveling to Mesa for 5 nights next week to visit my parents.

See ya!

Andrea, that's pretty much

Submitted by jennye on Sun, 03/04/2007 - 12:36pm.

Andrea, that's pretty much the reasons why I have decided to try this camera. Faster shutter speeds. I hope to get a good zoom lens one of these days to get better sports pictures, too. I can't wait for it to get here so I can learn all about it! I've heard going from a point and shoot to an SLR is like learning how to use a camera all over again.

I felt horrible last night. Had the chills all night and a 101 temp. After I fixed dinner (homemade pizza) I pretty much just sat on the recliner with three quilts on me and didn't get back up til this morning. I even slept with my boots on! LOL! And of course, holding the baby all night, too. He is better now, and so far, none of the other kids have come down with anything.

Nil on flying. I managed to clean up the kitchen a few minutes ago from last night. And that's probably all I'll do. I HATE being sick! I don't have time for this!

I'm still sick. DS4 and DD7

Submitted by jennye on Mon, 03/05/2007 - 10:02am.

I'm still sick. DS4 and DD7 are also sick and both are staying home from school today. DD9 is still ok, and I hope she remains so. This week is NM Standards testing. She has been working hard studying for it, even looked up the website and did activities from it. Cancelled my dinner guests for tonight. Chaulk up another day of no flying.

At least I got a shower earlier. Will still do my news for the paper.

Have a great day!

I'm sick too

Submitted by Becky on Mon, 03/05/2007 - 2:07pm.

I hope everyone feels better

Submitted by Andrea on Mon, 03/05/2007 - 6:02pm.

I hope everyone feels better soon! Yuk - we all need to feel good to do the things we need to do - like have babies!!

We have had terrible weather here - blowing and drifting snow. I had a very scary ride home in white-out conditions. I almost pulled over, but didn't kow what I would do then. So maybe snow day tomorrow b/c it will be below zero wind chills. I am so ready to be done with this! I really can't afford a snow day - a lot is going on at work.

Anyway, did a WM run after work to get a few things for the trip. Of course, DS10 hates the swimsuit I got him so need to return it. DH made burgers for dinner. I vacuumed the kitchen - put laundry away and helped Ds with homework - he got a ton of makeup work for when we will be gone.

See ya -

That's very frightening, Andrea. I sure hope you don't have to go driving again in those conditions!

I think I have today clear. I may stay home and plant some flowers to make a butterfly garden in the back yard.

I have had no news on the crime thing since last Thursday, when I got a letter stating that they let him out of jail on Monday night (he was arrested in the wee hours of Monday morning). The court date for tomorrow was canceled, and I haven't heard a peep from the authorities since.

Morning all! I'm still

Submitted by jennye on Tue, 03/06/2007 - 9:14am.

Morning all!

I'm still hacking up a lung over here and stuffed up, but I feel better. Like I have some energy. Drew threw up twice (once after dinner, once right after he went to bed, resulting in emergency changing of the sheets). DS4 woke up with fever again, DD7 claims her throat hurt and achy. I went ahead and let her stay home. I know her. As soon as she would get to school, she would turn on the tears and I'd be up there picking her up anyway. They are having a Star Wars Marathon, Day 2 on my bed.

I'm trying to catch up on laundry today. So much of it. I need to take care of some bookkeeping too.

Becky, when is your due date? And when does the Dr. think the little one will arrive? Are you ready?

Hey all! Another snow day

Submitted by Andrea on Tue, 03/06/2007 - 9:24am.

Hey all!

Another snow day here! It is way cold, but bright and sunny out.
DS is at a friend's and DD and I are here. Did return a couple things to WM - got myself a pair of shoes for our trips and a couple other things. AT least I can take this time to get ready for the trip.

I feel the same way about the roads Lois - that was very, very frightening. Worse than icy roads I think.

Hope your energy continues to increase Jenny!

Do you know the title Heidi? I am ready for a good Jodi Picoult book! I still need to read some of her old ones.

Submitted by Becky on Tue, 03/06/2007 - 9:53pm.

And thank goodness because I'm still pretty sick. Tylenol is keeping the fever down and most of the aches under control, but I still have no energy and very little appetite. And, like Jenny, still hacking up a lung and stuffed up. I did get two loads of laundry washed and dried today, but only put away one load.

Due date is March 12 but the doctor doesn't know when the baby will actually come any better than I do. I'm just hoping he stays in until I feel well enough to deal with labor!

I can't imagine being at that point and having a cold at the same time. Sleep! you won't ever get the chance again. Smiling

Oh--and you DO have a way to let us know when the baby comes, yes?

Becky, I had a cold a week

Submitted by jennye on Wed, 03/07/2007 - 7:17am.

Becky, I had a cold a week before DD9 was born. Luckily, it disappeared before she arrived.

Lois, What is going on over there?!

I shipped all three kids off to school today. DS4 and DD7 both claim they were better. I tried to give DS4 some decongestent, but he has never been one to take medicine and I don't think much went down the pipe. Hopefully I won't get called to pick one up. DH went to an auction sale in Texas, so just me and the baby today. Need to do some bookkeeping (slug), figure out some bills, filing (SLUG). Menus for the next few days. Yesterday's TADA was 5 loads of laundry (yay!).

Vonnie Checking In

Submitted by Vonnie on Wed, 03/07/2007 - 9:32am.

Lois, is this the guy with the rifle who was drunk?

NOt much flying going on in my life. I have too many irons in the fire. Working part-time. DD7 playing soccer, about to start softball, struggling with math at school. Involved in church: Outreach committee, adult choir, teaching Bible study on Sunday nights (ends 3/25, though), nursery worker on Wednesday nights. Making jewelry and trying to sell on eBay to make some extra cash.

Then you add in the fact that my husband does NOTHING to help at home, even though he is on straight days for about 2 years, and you have my life. I'm happy, though. That's what's important.

Hope all of the sickies are feeling better!

Coughing and stuffy here, too, still. Got a headache, but I'm contributing that to the kids rather than illness. LOL!

My new camera came yesterday, I have nothing but good things to say about it! It's a Nikon D50. VERY cool! Andrea, there is absolutly NO shutter lag. It takes the picture instantly! I got a really cool shot of the dog running and it was perfect. No blur, just my beautiful dog. I took 70 pictures just yesterday playing with it. Town today. I want to try

Submitted by jennye on Wed, 03/14/2007 - 8:19am.

Town today. I want to try to find some new boots (dressy ones, not work ones), as well as some other errands. Will spend the evening baking for bake sale tomorrow.

ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGgg!! Thanks, had to get that out of my system. DH was mad that we have such clutter in our house. It really isn't that bad. Just some bad spots, like the desks, snack bar, a spot on the hearth, a few others here and there. HE lost a check, blamed me (without blaming me. He blamed the kids, which is basically blaming me). After 30 minutes of looking, he found it. NOT in the spot where he said he put it. He had put it in a safe place so he wouldn't lose it. Yeah, that worked out great. But anyway, I got bitched out for the house being a mess (which it really isn't THAT bad. Yes, it could be neater. Put it this way. A magazine isn't going to be using my house for a photo shoot, but DCFS isn't going to be knocking at the door, either). All this is after I had to go clean out my pickup because he and a buddy are doing errands in town, too. His truck was a mess, so he informed me he was using mine. I had some trash in the back that the cats had gotten into, so I had to take the truck to the trash pit and clean it out. All before 8am.

I'm depressed. Time to go shopping! Wish me luck on the boots! I want some that go almost up to my knee with a big ol' high heel on them! My father would call them hooker boots. LOL!

Good Morning! Our schools

Submitted by heidic on Fri, 03/16/2007 - 12:36am.

Good Morning!

Our schools closed yesterday due to a power outage. We lost our power around 4am and it came back on around 10 am. Heavy winds and a ton of rain that froze by early morning must've been the culprit. DS was thrilled. He had already been home sick a couple days, went back one day and off again! Shaun- are you starting a walking routine? Good luck with it. I really enjoy my almost daily walk. Severe weather or pouring rain stops us but other than that my neighbor and I walk in the snow, and freezing temps. We may look like Eskimos but we stay warm.

Hey Everyone -
Well, we are back from AZ. It was a great trip - we loved the 90 plus weather! Now back to reality - today will be hard.
Heidi, haven't gotten the book yet, but checked it out online, looks good.
Jo, I read the Memory Keeper's Daughter - very good book.

OK, gotta go take on the day!
Becky, I thought you might've popped now but I guess not -

Submitted by jennye on Fri, 03/16/2007 - 7:19am.

Morning!!

Andrea, welcome home! Arizona sounds nice. It's been in the 70's here and has just been beautiful!

Shaun, ack, snow! Hopefully we are done with that til next winter. Boots are my normal everyday attire, ya know, but I'm always in an a** kickin' mood. LOL! But yeah, these are high heeled boots, not my everyday work boots, so I know what you mean.

Becky, do you have means of letting us know about the baby?

More of the same ol' stuff today. Gotta pay bills, transfer money. I have a major moving stuff around project I want to do. I'm moving my computer and office out of the closet in the living room and into the office, and moving the sewing/scrapbooking stuff into the closet. It's going to be a huge mess. I need to take care of bills first, so they don't get lost.

Shaun, I have a feeling we will end up watching Borat this weekend. Or the guys are talking about it anyway. maybe I'll go snuggle and read with DD instead.

Heidi, are you going to be subbing? I did that almost full time for a year and a half and I really liked it.

There is 10-20 inches of snow predicted for tonight! Yikes! :-0

Yes, I did get the boots! I went to every store in our mall that carried clothes (that would be Dillards, Sears, Bealls, JCPenney, and 3 other small stores), Walmart and Payless. Got them at The Buckle in the mall. Last pair of boots they had like I wanted! Last pair ANYONE had in a size close to fitting me. They are a little big, but I can wear an extra pair of socks to make up for it. Also on sale for $40.

Funny you should say that about Jessica Simpson. When I showed them to my husband, he started singing that song. LOL! But he did like them and said I was hot. Yeah, he's just horny.

Submitted by Andrea on Fri, 03/16/2007 - 2:14pm.

Hey Everyone-
Those sound nice Jenny. I recently bought a pair of black boots at Target, but they are more conservative. Never been comfy in the high heels! Yes, AZ was very nice. Have you started the moving around yet?

Jo, I did not know that about you. My parents have rented a home in a retirement community in Mesa. One of those 55+ places. So we stayed with them. It was great. I loved, loved, loved the weather. Of course, anything above 50 is great about now. And now I'm looking out at blowing wind and snow coming down - up to a foot!!!! I know you deal with the same thing. It is not fun to come back. I really like AZ lifestyle and the desert. This was my second trip. I would like to live further out though-we looked at Apache Junction and Gold Canyon. Mesa is pretty busy and of course Phoenix is crazy. We did a lot of fun stuff though - Phoenix Zoo, Arizona Science Center, Cubs game, hiking in the Superstitions, etc. I have a fab salmon recipe we discovered a few months back - I bet you would like it = it has that sweet/spicy thing you seem to having going in your cooking.

OK, need to run. Work went ok - very busy - stressful situation with a particular parent, but I did talk with her this afternoon and it went well.

See ya!

Submitted by jennye on Sat, 03/17/2007 - 7:40am.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Ok, one kid has basketball practice in 45 minutes. Need to wake and feed the others, throw a little makeup on. Then when we get home, showers for the girls, find something in their closets that is dressy enough for a wedding but has green on them (I'm thinking I need to dig out summer dresses. At least it will be in the 80's here today). Get myself ready right down to my new "The Boots Are Made For Walkin'" boots, and go to the wedding at 2. Too bad they are church of Christ. Won't be much of a party. Wedding, some cake and punch and that's it. I bet the grooms family is a little disappointed, they are Catholic. LOL! Maybe we will go out with them tonight for a REAL celebration of the wedding, without the bride and groom. LOL! I mean, it's St. Paddy's day AND a wedding! We gotta have something to drink, man! LOL!

Or I'll just come home and have a margarita anyway. LOL!

Oh, yesterday I got the computer desk and stuff switched around with all my sewing crap. I still have piles of stuff on the old computer desk to go thru, but it's behind bifold doors so at least they are out of sight.

It's Monday, and I SO didn't want to get up! LOL! I hit the snooze a few times then rolled on out and got going, slowly. LOL!

Heidi, the wedding was nice. Short and sweet. A couple of things surprised me about the ceremony (the word submit was used a few times and the preacher actually mentioned the baby on the way). The reception was simple. crackers and cheese and slices of fruit, the wedding cake was cheesecake (made by the father of the bride and it was gooooood!). start to finish was less than 3 hours (that's wedding and reception). But we went to the grooms father's house and partied til about 10:30 with the rest of the sinners. LOL!

I need to do my morning routine then would really like to get the home blessing done. Tonight is 4-H meeting. I really need to find a place to put our chick. She is still in a cage in the garage. Also need more chicks. Maybe this week I can look into that.

And since it seems spring is here in full force (it was mid 80's here yesterday), I may start sorting thru kids clothes. Not put away ALL the winter things, leave out a couple, just in case. I'm in a spring cleaning mood!

Becky, how's it going there? Any baby yet?

I just got back from an exhausting morning of pictures at the school. Getting 21 girls changed in and out of cheer uniforms, figuring out who got individual pictures, dealing with their gabbing. Then another 7 in and out of basketball uniforms (one uniform was missing from the closet!!). Plus dealing with Drew the whole time. I'm ready to take the rest of the day off (but I can't).

PODA:
make 2 cakes for a funeral tomorrow morning
make 3 desserts for concession stand this weekend at the school
make 2 desserts for bake sale on Thursday for preschool
read more of book and 4-H project sheets on raising dairy heifer (I think we are getting two of them next week for DD9 to raise ands show)
laundry today
finish figuring out kids summer/winter/too small clothes

Plus, this week is the Lions club Jamboree. Which means Wednesday-Sunday DH will be busy every single day with that (he is in the bad for Wed and Sunday show. The rest of it he is just in charge of everything). American Idol tonight (so is Paula Deen chefography) and tomorrow night. DD7 also playing in the band tomorrow night.

I'm rambling. There are so many things going on, I can't get them straight!!!! Spring break next week, yippee!!

I am going to jump back into flying. I think it will help give me focus. I need that.

Im running behind today beccause I had to help out a sister and its the first day so its going to consist of baby steps but here goes nothing....

PODA
load my dishwasher
do 3 loads of laundry all the way
mop the kitchen
vacume upstairs and tidy the two upstairs bathrooms
walk the dog

I used to live in such a tiny 3 beedroom manufactured home that was old and had no space....it was also less space to clean.
Now I live in a two story 4 bedroom 3 and half bathroom and it is ALOT more to clean although the mess looks less messy beccause it has room the spread. Also now most of my kids are old enough that I WILL NOT clean thier room beccause they can do it. I have to learn to clean a larger space more efficently.
Wish me luck ladies lets see if my wings still work.

Welcome back over here,

Submitted by jennye on Wed, 03/21/2007 - 1:29pm.

Welcome back over here, Jenn! I agree, I used to have a trailer house and it was a little smaller than my current house, but seemed easier to clean (however, I had 2 kids then, not the 4 I have now).

I have spent all day running errands in town (Ag extension office, grocery store, subway, church to drop off cake and brownies for a funeral today, and a friends house). Fixin' to pick the kids up from school, home to bake a few dozen cookies for bake sale tomorrow. Tonight is night one of the Jamboree and I have to go because my DD7 will be on stage with her guitar (you won't hear her, but she will be up there). DH is also playing. Somehow I have to figure out if I can watch American Idol first. LOL! I don't like Sanjara (or whatever his name is).

Is it nap time yet? Thank goodness tomorrow is last day of school before spring break (and thank goodness just 2 months left of school!).

Good Evening! This was one

Submitted by heidic on Wed, 03/21/2007 - 3:47pm.

Good Evening!

This was one crazy day guys. First thing at 6am DS informs me that the dog opened up the golfball size tumor on her leg. Had to bandage that up but of course she yanked it off. DS missed the bus during all this so I had to bring him to school in my PJ's(at least I didn't have to walk in!!) No sooner than I walk in,get DD up, and make a vet appointment-the school nurse calls to say DS has a temp and wants to come home. So back up to school and home then the vet. Back from the vet and call the Pediatrician who insists on seeing DS instead of calling in a prescription after 2 weeks of coughing!! Why make it so difficult. The kid odviously has a bacterial infection at this point and not a virus(strep and mono negative) So take him to Dr and then to pick up meds and home again. I am hungry and need a shower, bleh.

Whew....give me strength. Tomorrow the dog has surgery first thing in the morning.

Thanks for the welcome back Jennye it feels good although my fly wings are atrophied a bit. I can feel the crave for structure. I totally am with you on the spring break and summer thing! Our nieghborhood has a sweet new pool I cant wait to try it out.

Hedic hope pooch and ds both recover for you!

Shaun yay on the slip cover. I got a slipcover at target in a sage-ish green colour but I am having trouble getting it to stay put. I have done my best tucking but it only hangs about 5 inches over the back and always seems to slip down on one side. Any tips for getting a slipcover that doesnt slip are welcome.

Well I didnt do to well on my PODA today and it may have something to do with over ambition and starting late but at least I started. I didnt procrastinate on flying anymore and thats a big TADA in itself. Of my list all I got done was the dishwasher with three large dishes being held over in soak until tommorow.

Other TADAS:
Wiped out the inside of the fridge
did a nice fling on the fridge while I was in there
took out the trash (this one is silly but my husband usually does it so it counts)
Picked up and put up two arm loads of ranomly placed objects and clothes
My biggest brightest TADA of all is
*****I shined my sink for the first time in a long time and ever in this home****
very proud of that one its like busting the bottle on the new boat at launch.

I was gonna post a PODA for tommorow but I think I will wait and give myself the reccomended five minutes in the morning reading flylady instructions to brush up on my skills and remember how this works. Then I will try for a reasonable PODA. I am hopeful to sort out the winter things tommorow so I have less laundry to do that wont get worn past finding out its too warm outside and then need to be rewashed for no reason. It will also give me a nice thrift store clothes shopping list.

Glad to be back hope you all have a good night

Heidi, make sure you take

Submitted by jennye on Thu, 03/22/2007 - 7:51am.

Heidi, make sure you take the son to the dr and the dog to the vet, not the boy to the vet and dog to the dr. LOL!!!! Seriously, hope all are better soon.

We got thru the first night of Jamboree. Got home about 10:30 (very late for a school night!). Got a few dozen cookies made before hand and shipped them off to school with DH and the kids this morning. It was cloudy and thundering in the distance, and after consulting the radar a few times, I got the baby dressed and he and I together got the yard fertilized (don't arm wrestle me left handed. After carrying the child for most of that, I'm one strong woman! LOL!). And less than 10 minutes after we got done the sky opened up! Great timing! I'm on the second load of laundry now. I will be going up to the school in about an hour to work the bake sale, will probably stick around for the high school baseball tournament at the school today (it's during school hours. In fact, DD9's class is going to the game for their end of the 9 weeks party. Well, and the teacher has 2 kids playing on our team. If it's not rained out). Right after school I need to pick up MIL and nephew and we go to DD7's basketball game tonight in another community an hour away (will pass thru town, so McDs for dinner). If she wins tonight, they play again Saturday night. If she loses tonight, they will play again tonight, and if they win the second game, they play again Saturday. Clear as mud? Good. I have to be there early til the coach can get off work, so I'm in charge of uniforms.

Sheesh, I'm tired just thinking about the day! LOL!

Anyone shocked about Stephanie Edwards last night!? I sure was!

Sharing the Germs

Submitted by Shaun on Thu, 03/22/2007 - 9:30pm.

Everyone around here is plagued by allergies, stomach bugs, you name it. Our babysitter was sick Tues., then came today but after 30 minutes had to leave because she was feeling too ill. (Turns out she had been throwing up in the am!) I seem to be having some sinus issues but I am trying to ignore them. That always works, right?! Eye-wink

Poor Stephanie -- she seemed to have a lot of potential. Who can explain it? (My mom is a huge Idol fan; she told me she voted 50 times each for Laksiha and Melinda. Wow -- I can't even imagine.)

Hoping to feel better tomorrow and do some organizing before my organizer comes again Sunday. Otherwise, tomorrow I just have to work and knit (a shawl for DDs 1st communion).

Shaun, us normal old fogies

Submitted by jennye on Fri, 03/23/2007 - 7:36am.

Shaun, us normal old fogies are outnumbered by the young tweens and teens that fawn over that idiot boy that can't sing. LOL! My girls love him, and girls at the high school love him. The teens can dial faster, thanks to their finger exercises text messaging their friends sitting at the same table, so we are just out voted. LOL!

Ended up with two ball games last night. We lost both. By a score of 30-0 and 20-0. Yeah, we sucked. LOL! But they had fun (though DD7 said she didn't know it would be THAT much running! She was really sweaty!).

Today I'm going to fold the two loads of laundry I did yesterday and pick up the house (vacuum especially. Downpour of rain means mud in my house). Then I'm going to walk around some by the barns and junk piles and see what I can find to rig up something for chickens. Also want to get calf pen ready for the dairy heifers DD9 will be raising. Some deskwork, too. Oh, and finish with the girls summer/winter clothes thing. Some of this may go onto this weekend. But it helps to list it all down.

Glad all is well Jenny - scary!

Busy here, as usual. We have had some nice hints of spring - bulbs shooting up, robins nesting, etc. I was inspired to do a bit of tidying in the garage and yard. I am a bit depressed thinking of the spring cleaning. Windows, floors, oven, frig, etc. all could stand a going over. Also things like bedspreads, pillows, etc. Baby steps are my best bet. Need to go back to the Flylady site for spring cleaning schedules, etc. As an aside, I find that the busier I get, the more compulsive I get about cleaning! Of course I have less time, so I really can't afford to be more compulsive! Go figure.

Anyway, have a good nite everyone -

Submitted by jennye on Mon, 03/26/2007 - 6:25pm.

Well, I didn't fly much. Did keep the kitchen clean, though. I cooked a bit in there today. Browned some meat for Swiss Steak (which finished out the day in the crock pot). Also made a Peach Cobbler (both were Paula Deen recipies. She is so awesome!). DD9 and I went over some of the basics of baking for her 4-H project book. I started off the morning doing some bookkeeping/billing. Then I spent a good chunk of time outside getting an area ready for the chickens (while Drew napped inside). I moved about 200 T-posts (I am a super-meister-stud-woman! They were in bundles of 5!). Rigged me up a makeshift coop. Then decided that I won't put them there afterall. LOL! Decided I would clean out a section of a barn that was a chicken barn, but has been a dumping spot for junk for at least 30 years. It will be a big job cleaning that up, but I feel better using that than what I had rigged up. I'll have to build a fence around it, too.

Kitchen cleaned, dog and horses are fed, along with all the humans in the house. I'm pooped. DH talked about us going to Lubbock tomorrow, but don't know what he decided. If not, I'll work on the chicken barn and getting the calf pen ready for the two we will get for DD9. Guess I won't fly much tomorrow, either! LOL!

Well I have had an intresting week since Sunday. With the husband home I havent done any flying of the flylady sort beccause I couldnt tear myself away from him. Now he is back to work and its time to fly again. Monday he had off and we just enjoyed each other and the kids. Yesterday my sister got married to her own Army man so I had to help with that all day but now alas it is time to remeber my house doesnt clean itself.

I do hope Becky is okay!

Good luck with the coop Jennye. My mom and dad just finished thiers and its going well the hens are laying already at a pretty decent rate. We have about 30 or so eggs being sat and 50 in the incubator. The turkeys are terrorizing the new ducks though and are going to have to be seperated. Its an impressive size coop though, Im thinking that in about 5 months they are gonna have to make it just a bit bigger.

Submitted by jennye on Wed, 03/28/2007 - 8:11am.

I'm going shopping today! The girls need new Easter dresses (they wore the same ones last year as the year before). Want to get a nice short sleeve western shirt for DS4 (he will still wear jeans and boots for Easter), try to find a dutch oven, Paula Deen cookbooks, aviary netting, and groceries. The girls did some outside work yesterday, I owe them each $5. They can spend it in Bath and Body works or Claire's. Plan on meeting DH for lunch at Chili's (he had to go and get some parts, didn't want to be stuck shopping with us. He plans on taking DS4 with him later. Girls will be spending the night at the inlaws. So we won't be home all day.

Jenn, so glad your hubby made it home! All I'm doing is 6-12 chickens for DD9s 4-H project (but DD7 has one chicken, too).

Mission accomplished. I managed to do all I had set out to do. Walmart had one of the cookbooks (a desserts one) that I bought, also had two others that were $21 each, but I really shouldn't buy them all, so just one this trip. I looked at a bookstore, and they had three others, but they were outrageously priced. I'll buy them off amazon or Walmart.com for half the price. I found a cast iron dutch oven at True-Value, but it was $55.99. So, I'll wait for a holiday (Mother's Day or my Birthday in Oct), or I'll find one cheaper on Ebay or something.

The girls and I had fun at BandBW and at Claire's, and their Easter dresses are so pretty! I'll take pictures (and some day will post them. LOL!).

Good Morning! Hope all is well with you girls. We had such nice weather for 2 days and now it is back to windy and cold out. Had the kiddos out all day both days and was great. Hopefully nicer weather will be back soon.

Been keeping up with the am and pm routine which is definitely key for me. If I wake up to a half way decent looking kitchen my day goes so much better. I am also back to doing a load of laundry a day. we will see how it goes.

I was up late last night- went to see Deadly Silence with Ddad and Dsis. was really creepy and scary like The Ring scary. Was nice to get out while Dh did bedtime duty Smiling I Dvr'd American Idol. I still cant believe Sanjaya made it through. I was cracking up at ryan Seacrest's mohawk wig!! Then I had to watch House so now I am beat! And of course Luke got up last night. UGGHHH............. ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

Im glad Becky is doing well and Samuel is adorable.
On to the flapping:
~clean sink
~1 load laundry washed, dried and folded
~both kids fed and dressed
~i am dressed
~beds made

Watched AI here too. I can

Watched AI here too. I can not stand Sanjaya!! Ugh! I wasn't big on Chris either, but would have rather seen Sanjaya go. I think all the guys suck this year. Blake is the best one of the bunch, followed by Phil. But the girls rock! I can't decide which of the girls I would rather win, I love them all. I like rockin' Gina. Haley is too darn cute and I think would be a good country singer. Jordan is adorable, luv her! And the two black girls can just wail! I still can't believe Stephanie got voted off last week. That was a bad call.

Aaaahhhhh!!!!!!!

Track and Field season started last week. I coach, and boy has it put a wrench in my flying. I was at a coaches clinic all last weekend in Boston, and then at practice everyday until 5:00. Plus, I'm doing the workouts with the kids so I'm tired and sore.

Plus, my sister is visiting from Chicago.

Sheesh. Excuses, excuses, eh?

TADA
did manage the dishes yesterday
and one load of laundry

PODA
um, go out to dinner with DS, DS, and DSIL

Have a fun Friday everyone!
