Kit's Story Collection is a wonderful book! It actually shows what it was like in the Depression. There were a lot of hard times, but it ends at the last book when Kit gets her letter in a newspaper. Also you find out what happens to people who were poorer than her. They went to soup kitchens or hobo camps. It was very hard. I love this book because it shows a girl that has a lot to say and is almost exactly like me.
