![]() Ah, yes, Southern CA and the great disconnectA resident of Long Beach once announced, when introduced to the idea of eggs from organic, free range chickens, "I want eggs from the grocery store, not from chickens." Bleh. Anhata ![]() The Cow.Oh....ha ha! Once my DH was milking one of our cows at the State Fair (and we were in IDAHO, farm country baby!) and a man (from out of state, we were pretty sure, at least not from the area) asked him WHAT ON EARTH HE WAS DOING TO THE COW!! Stephen said, "Milking it, by hand, what does it look like?" So, the guy replies, "As in, MILK, like MILK in the store?" "Yup, same stuff, only a little better, since it's fresh!" my husband replies. The guy heaved. Poor fella, been drinking the stuff his whole life and no one mentioned it's source. I just shook my head. Later, for kicks & grins we took an extra pair of his pants, stuffed em with straw, and put em "under" a cow, with strings on the legs, then thrown over the rafter so we could make 'em "kick" when some unsuspecting soul walked by. Most laughed, a few really screamed. hee hee ![]() Ooooh! Updates!I didn't see the note before under the screen, there are two more short promos about the fair...the cotton candy one was pretty good! Jilsyt, you two are evil with the pants gag! You should have videoed it! Honestly, don't they teach anything in biology? Mammals...mammary glands...milk...it comes from boobies, people, get over it! Betcha that guy only drink soy milk, now! Anhata Post new comment |
