Does anyone know if you can put chopped dates in a recipe instead of raisins? I used to put raisins in my pumpkin cookie recipe but my husband can't eat raisins anymore. So I was wondering if the dates would be too chewy or too dry if I used them instead. Do I need to boil them first?
