For the Music Lovers

DD11.5 and I were coming home after she had music ensemble rehersal at school. The production is a musical-drama and the only detail that I have (yet) is that the entire production takes place in a bathtub. (?)

Anyway, I've got the radio on, and the song If I had a million dollars by Bare Naked Ladies came on...She and I went on to have a conversation about "silly" band names..."Goo Goo Dolls" etc. and she said....

"Yeah, and what's up with that pork chop guy?"

Well of course I have NO idea what she is talking about so I respond (eloquently) "Huh?"

"You know Mom....the guy who calls himself "Pork Chop."

ME: HUH?

HER: "...well, its some kind of "meat!"

ME: "Are you talking about "Meatloaf?"
HER: "Oh! Yeah! That's it!"

I almost couldn't drive the rest of the way home!

Pork Chop, indeed!
