Aaaaaaand...the Holiday Knitting has just begun...

I've got a list started of the knitted holiday gifts to make up this year.
Mom: pair of felted slippers in dark blue
younger brother: 2x2 rib stocking cap made from some black/grey/white yarn I handspun last winter/spring (done) with matchin fingerless mitts if he's lucky (IOW, if I've the time)
stepdad: Farrow Rib Scarf the most brilliant stitch I've ever seen, it's, like, thermal, or something (in progress, I've about a third done) in a nice self striping yarn of muted blue, brown, and green.
middle brother: set of felted coasters in the '49ers colors. My SIL said knitted ones would be nice, should the baby bang them on the coffee table they won't leave dents.
sister in law: knitted stocking cap, Miami Dolphins teal color, haven't decided the design yet
niece age 17: Quiddich socks, Gryffindor House, naturally
Niece age 10 mos: I'll do baby socks for her, too, not sure which yarn yet

My goal is to only use yarn I've already got--I'm not allowed to buy any new yarn for these projects. I have a burgoning yarn stash that seriously needs depleting.
These are all fairly simple projects that should go quickly, two or three days, except for the socks and slippers. However, I will have to dye some yarn in order to not have to buy any more. That's no big, I don't think. We'll see.
Yes, I know I'm insane. What's your point?

Me too
I'm holiday knitting as well.
First, I have to finish off DD's sweater, one sleeve to go.
I'm half way through a scarf for DD in pink merino 'big wool tuft'. It's funky
And it knits on 20mm (US 36) needles. They're ENORMOUS. It knits up so quickly. Fab
Then I'm knitting ties for DBILs and another scarf for DSIL in cream 'big wool tuft'.
Best Friend is getting a teacosy in classy grey aran tweed. But she's in New Zealand until Jan, so I've got some slack on that one.
I would also like to make a patchwork cushion for DH, but we'll see how the time goes.
Wow, better get knitting!

I'm mostly crocheting
Cause it's, you know, a lot faster. Dishcloths and washcloths. I did knit my sister a little kerchief for her birthday though.
additions to the list
I'm adding my MIL and FIL, they're both getting scarves. FIL is getting the exact same scarf as my stepdad (shh, don't tell) and my MIL is getting a nice vibrant colored scarf in the thick Landscape yarn. Unless I decide to make her a totebag instead.
Also, instead of socks, niece is getting earwarmer/headband maybe with matching legwarmers...I don't think I could get the socks done in time for Christmas.
I've priced out buying the dye to do some of the projects listed above and it's cheaper to buy the yarn. I will be using my stash for six of the projects though, so I still feel a bit virtuous.

Four projects done so far
Younger brother's hat--check
Stepdad's scarf--check
MIL's scarf--check
1yr old niece's hat--check (It's the cutest little hat ever, got the pattern here.)
I'm currently about to cast on for a headband/earwarmer for my 17 yr old neice. The rest of my projects are percolating in my head. I hope I get most of them done...

wow you're cookin right along!
I've seen the brother's hat--folks, it was handspun! And I really like your stepdad's scarf, it was turning out nice. And *I* just flashed on what to make for Annora.
