Found it!

My teapot, that is. Have been looking for it ever since we moved to Oregon, finally found the box it was packed in.

But now that I'm using it I realize I'd forgotten that a)it's on the smallish size, only makes about two and a half teacups at a time and b) how delicate it is, I'm afraid I'm going to chip, crack, or break it.

It matches my Universal Ballerina stoneware set, the Comde Rose pattern, but I think I'm going to have to get a larger, sturdier teapot for everyday use.

Cause I read at one tea website the new studies show drinking tea is ridiculously healthy for you. I personally enjoy white tea, jasmine tea, assam tea, and chai.

Were I French, I'd have a different teapot for each type so that the flavors don't get polluted. But I'm not French and I don't have the space anyway until my new china cabinet gets finished and put in the dining room. After that, I may start speaking with a Pepe LePeu accent and aquiring some more pots.

Mon cherie, is it destined zat we are to fraternize?
