All the cool kid bloggers do this and I run out of time to write out a whole buncha small posts so here goes:
--Beware of Nightmare Mortgages: I watched these low-interest-rate adjustable mortgages come into fashion in the last few years and I cringed. As a former loan officer, I smelled a bad deal from a long way off, and sure enough, a lot of homeowners are now discovering it really WAS too good to be true. While you're at Get Rich Slowly (a daily stop for me, and a fellow PDX blogger), check out the missus' canning. Gorgeous. I'm envious. I have been too sick to can for years now and dammit I'm going to do some canning next year.
--It's Not About Your Stuff has handy excuses for your clutter.
--The wonderful new sister of Make, Craft, points to this good tutorial on knitting with two circular needles. I am a dinosaur and refuse to give up my five double-points. Yes, I've tried the two-circ method; just doesn't work for me.
--I want everything at superbuzzy. All of it.

OK, that Craft site rocks
Not only that, but their review of The Museum of Kitschy Stitches: A Gallery of Notorious Knits led me to Stichy McYarnpants' website, which lead to some serious snikering at the very odd knitting patterns of yesteryear.
Nicely done!

Like I need another magazine...
Oh dear, I might just have to subscribe to that. Like I really need another magazine to read. Make for my husband and Craft for me? Hmm...
BTW Lynn, thanks for pointing to Make a while back. I got my husband a Christmas gift subscription and he absolutely loves it. Giggles with glee when he finds a new issue waiting for him.
Homemaking
My best friend, Bobby, told me about this site. It's great! It makes me feel so proud and confident to be a homemaker.
