Personal finance is non-political:

Even if you’re bothered by the blatantly liberal perspective of The Two-Income Trap, you can glean some useful information. You may think religion is a curse, but if you suffer from back-breaking debt, there’s no better starting point than Dave Ramsey’s The Total Money Makeover, Bible verses and all! Ignore the liberal rants. Ignore the Bible verses. Focus on the financial advice.

Amen.

Dave Ramsey rocks...

I am not a bible thumper. far, far from it.

But I will tell you that Dave is the real deal. He and our friend Carla (spreadsheet goddess extraordinaire) are responsible for our household getting out of debt, and staying that way.

This guy is smart AND entertaining.

I can't even get him to go to church with us--UNITARIAN church, which doesn't even like being called church ("yeah, could you, like, maybe call us a congregation?")! If JJ likes Dave Ramsey, anyone can like Dave Ramsey. Smiling
