Wish me luck!

I've got an interview tomorrow (Tuesday) with a very cool non-profit for a Development position (fundraising/special events/marketing/public relations for those who don't know that catch word). I'm about to start pulling my portfolio together to show samples of my previous work--this may take the rest of the afternoon.

:::fingers crossed::: My gut feeling so far is that this would be a great job. Here's hoping!

How did it go?

How did you get on, Anhata?

It went very well, I think!

Thank you for all your well wishes!

They had the immense courtesy to hand me the list of questions they would ask me a few minutes before the interview, so I had a chance to think about them before I went in. Very, very humane. They liked the work samples I brought, flyers, annual report, newsletters, etc.

I look really good in my interview suit, it's a dark dark brown skirt and jacket with a pretty blue dress shirt. I LOVE that outfit and didn't want to take it off when I got home. But DD's acrylic paint project necessitated a quick wardrobe change! Eeek.

I feel I did almost as well as I possibly could. I was a little more nervous than I liked to be, but more relaxed than I was for my first interview somewhere else last week (a bust, btw). I'm qualified for the job, so if I don't get it, I know it won't be My Fault, it'll be because they wanted something else.

Here's hoping the want me!!! (I'd love this job!)

sounds like a positive experience

any good interview is a confidence booster, whatever the outcome. If you get a job that quickly it would be stunning! But as you said it wouldn't be your fault if they didn't - it's just not meant to be and you're being saved for the right job. Maybe this is it.

either way, good luck with the outcome! Smiling

Kerri.
