Full kid day tomorrow:
AM Nature walk at beautiful city park along the Mississippi
PM Freelance work, then take my kids and a friend's kids out for dinner and indoor playground

Anything else that gets done is bonus!

I've been in Seattle for a week on a Mommy Attitude Adjustment vacation.

My SIL and I went to visit her sister (my other SIL), and we had the best time. We went to Yakima valley to some vinyards and wineries, spent some time walking around on Mt. Ranier, and a day shopping in the city. We ate amazing food, exercised every day, and slept very well. I feel great!

But...
No one flew while I was gone, and things in the house are not good.

get the kids to take care of their clutter

Mine is Isabelle. She reminds me of my old foster mom. she had a DISGUSTING flea ridden house that never saw a vaccuum as long as i lived there. she used to just sit on the couch and smoke unfiltered cigarettes. YUCK!! I never want to live like that. (she died of lung cancer very young) she did have a heart of gold thou...

So today im going to tackle some old "put offs" like dr's appt for me, etc. also on the poda is my menu planning, and grocery list. Also a "back to school" list for my new little homeschoolers stuff to make an AWSOME journal.

Welcome back, Jo!! I kwym about no one flying while you are gone. Makes it hard to come home, doesn't it?

I got the living room/dining room carpets shampooed yesterday, unloaded and put away all Sam's stuff from the Suburban. got one kid working with DH on cleaning out a cattle guard so that we can let the cows out into the house/barn areas and they can mow down the weeds. I think he is wishing he had just put up a gate or fence. LOL!

Going to vacuum, do a little laundry, maybe a couple of desk chores. I've been straightening out the baby's room. He started CRAWLING yesterday! Watch out! LOL!

Ball game is on, I should do stuff in the living room so I can watch it at the same time. Go Braves!!

I am away too - in Minnesota with DH's family. Will be returning home on Saturday, none too soon. It has been nice to take a break from flying, but I'm looking forward to getting back into my routines!

Hope all you flyaway babies are having good vacations! Andrea, I think this is a new Jenn (there are thousands of us, after all! LOL!).

I didn't get much done yesterday. The Braves lost horribly. Today we are going to the free movie in town (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire). I have some company staying with us (actually, my MIL's nephew's girlfriends kids. Clear as mud?). So taking them, then doing our back to school supplies shopping (and gym shoes, too), and groceries.

Yeah, once there were 8 jenns in my grade!! three classes, but 8 jenns! No, im a new Jenn.

jenne-yeah, like becky said...flylady uses "th brat" as an alter ego that is the voice telling you to NOT get up and clean. To overspend, to forget your routine cuz your tired. Its alittle silly, but i like it. I even drew a picture of her and she looks like what i would look like if i didnt do anything. (very unshaven and messy LOL)

Hey everyone -

Good Lord - I leave for a bit and you guys disappear off the face of the earth! Where is everyone - hopefully busy flying!

We got home today at 1:00 or so and I've just been unpacking, laundry, etc. We had relatives of friends using our house when we were gone, so had some sheets to put back on, etc. I don't mind it, the house was probably cleaner than when I left! Made dinner and now kind of planning out my week. I have some Dr. appointments and also working a bit. I would also like to finish my dungeon duty once and for all!! I can take stuff to the church garage sale starting Monday so that will help!

I'll check in in the am with a PODA -

Welcome home, Andrea!

I folded 4 loads of laundry today (one from the other day, 3 today). Maintained in the kitchen and living room for the most part. And took care of some problem hot spots on the floor of my room. The rest of the time has been spent tending to Drew, who thinks he should be the center of the universe now that he is pulling up and crawling.

Church tomorrow. and inlaws.

Heidi and Shaun - the trip was nice - got to see the relatives we only see every one or two years plus my inlaws of course (we see them more b/c they come here). There have been some issues lately with DH's brother, who is struggling with drug addiction. WE also had a "discussion" with DH's sister and her DH who are Jehovah's Witnesses - not very pleasant. Anyway, both of those things belong on another thread!

I am psyched because I am almost doing decluttering the basement - I did 1 1/2 hours today and it is looking great!
