We have a driver....
...well, at least a temporary learner's permitted one!
YIKES!
Anybody want to trade a potty-training toddler for my ready-to-get-the-road almost-16-year-old daughter?
Actually, I think we're ready. She's very cautious and mature and I'm ready to be relieved of a bit of taxi duty!
Wish us luck!

I do I do
wish you luck that is!! The thought of my son behind the wheel is enough to make me break out all over, but sine he's not yet 8, and can't get his learner's permit till he's 17 I guess I should probably keep breathing for now!

Our DS
Has had his permit for 11.5 months, which means the license is 2 weeks away. Yikes!
Actually though, he really is a good driver. He once told me, "It's a speed LIMIT, not a suggestion!" Yeah, I'm a bit of a lead foot.
he'll grow out of it Jo!!

I remember those days of just getting the permit and finally being allowed to drive the car! I actually grew up on a farm and had driven before getting my permit but I'm not going to say that I was good at it
Good luck and I'm sure your daughter will understand the responsibility that comes along with driving!
I don't know if my mother
I don't know if my mother was worried about me getting my license. She was just happy I passed. Everything will be ok with the new driver. Just make sure she isn't on the cell phone while driving. Not using a handset was officially made illegal here in California. People were getting pulled over like crazy getting tickets.
