School's Out! You Say...

Ok, some days I'm between the YAY and the AAARGH! LOL! The bickering makes me say ARG. But I'm glad to have them home, and I'm glad that I don't have to get up early for a few months.

But I'm excited that next year our school is going to 4-day week! Sure, the days are a little longer (8-3:50). But we will have Fridays off, so cool!! Most rural schools do this. It's really going to help with the sports schedule, saving energy costs (even though it's just one day a week, it will help that the buses won't be using that gas, and that the school won't have to crank up the heat or AC on that day either). And holiday weekends will be a 4-day weekend (followed by just a regular 2 day weekend the next week to make up for it).

I am glad to have them home this summer and we are having a great time. And in the Fall they will not be returning to public school rather we will be homeschooling.
