Josie, as I've recently written, is mobile; she's on two wheels, and it's hard to get her off them. I remember being her age and riding on my bike all over the place, especially to my school on weekends or after hours to just ride around the breezeways and think. Consequently, I let her ride around the block, on the sidewalk, by herself, to talk to the neighbors on her own and think her own thoughts.
This has gotten me into trouble with some of my relatives. How could I let Josie out of my sight like that? She's so pretty and so sweet, someone's going to take her.
Except that they're not. And I'm glad that at least one other family [1] knows that too.
