I think I'll list a TADA just to go to bed feeling like something happened today: Gosh, I know there is something I did that seemed really Fly-worthy, but I can't remember it! Well, babysteps . . . Jenny and Becky, hope you each got through the day OK!  I Am Still HereReally. I just have been completely off schedule for the last several weeks, and have not had time to post. TADA PODA The house is pretty bad. I have mostly kept up with dishes and laundry, but the floors really need to be done. I also have not meal planned and thus have not done much home cookin' recently. Oh, and DD's room-you wouldn't even believe it. Need to get back to my routines! Someone kick me! I can't even think about finding the time for it anymore, and won't get to participate this weekend at all unless I find some time here at the house (HA!). Yesterday went well with all the kids. I even had 10 minutes to play with my new sewing machine when they all took a nap together! LOL! Drew woke up soon after the other two crashed. haha! I did get the bathrooms mostly cleaned (counters, sinks and toilets), and stuck to the MR and BBR. As soon as Drew takes a nap, I'm going to spray Weed-B-Gone outside, and I need to work on a sewing project for the school (embroidering a blanket to give to our school's "biggest fan". He is actually an old man who comes to every game and EXPECTS a gift every year. Running out of ideas of what to get him. He's got letter jackets with all the patches, balls, plaques and mums from every homecoming. So I'm making him a fleece blanket with his name, etc. on it). BTW, DD6 got 3rd place in the school wide talent show. She sang "you are my sunshine". Hi Flyfriends!!I need a big kick in the butt too Jenny and Jo!!! I have been hanging on by a thread but each day is getting more and more crazy! Luke thank goodness is such a happy easy going boy. He is getting so so big- I cant keep up with feeding him! Alexa is doing well with him but is really showing her spirited self these days as she reaches 2. Anything from getting dressed to which couch I can sit on has become a battle with her. TADA PODA Jackie-your link didn't work,try again when you get a chance,things sound hectic but fun Jenny-an inexpensive idea for the older gent would be a digital photo of him surrounded by all the athletes and then signed by them. You could blow it up 8x10 and frame it. Maybe you have already done this in the past for him?? Well guys, the water's boiling for the pasta so...tata for now Heidi Oh yes. Done that. HeOh yes. Done that. He demands pictures of him with the players. with the cheerleaders. With the homecoming court (both the football and basketball homecomings). He also demands his own mums at the homecomings as well (for those that don't have them, mums are these huge fancy flowers made out of ribbons in the school's colors with lots and lots of other ribbons hanging down, charms, words put on them. They get really fancy and expensive). If you want to know the truth, the guy is a little fruity. DH says he used to come into the locker rooms all the time in his high school days. Let's just say his elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor. Besides, I've already bought and washed the fleece for it. It will just take some time to make it. Good Morning! See ya Heidi Drew is having a good nap,Drew is having a good nap, so I took advantage and cleaned the back patio. Since the fire, the sand has been blowing in horribly and I hauled off 3 wheelbarrel loads of dirt/sand from it. Yes, 3 LOADS!! Also planted a couple of hanging baskets of petunias. Started on the blanket for booster club too. Was starting to work on hoeing a couple rows in the garden, but decided to take a lunch break first. LOL! Drew will be waking up soon, anyway. Heidi, the day with an extra kid went well, he wasn't bad at all. I'm hoping to finish the blanket today, work on my grandmother's quilt for her birthday (it was last month, but she will be here next week). Um, let me make a list PODA: At least we don't have practice or games tonight. tomorrow. hey everybody!Checking in-- things are so busy! Today was a big errand day, and I got some packing done too. I've been decluttering along with the packing of course. Tomorrow at 6 or so, we're going to go drop some baby clothes off at my cousin's house. She's in the hospital for observation but she's almost at 30 weeks, which means her baby will most likely survive even if she's born now; so they feel safe borrowing back the baby clothes (and then I'll get them back for our next one). Bleah!I've made a couple of work mistakes recently that are bringing me down. I am trying to remember the sage advice I gave to Vonnie when she said the same thing! Speaking of which, who knows how she is doing? Just peeking in to say hi all. Been wasting too much time on the computer tonight and need to get to bed. Good Morning! TADA morningGood Morning! My next project (I think) is digging up a new landscaping area next to our garage - need to dig up sod and bring in some dirt. We have a bunch of really nice mulch left over so that inspired me. Her DH skipped town with the two older kids and left her home alone with the screaming infant (note: skipped town as in went on a previously scheduled trip, not as in took off for good), so she invited a bunch of other ladies over to keep her company for a night. Good fun as always -- gossip, wine, brownies, spinach dip. All the necessities for a moms night out! Exhausted.TADA: -spent an hour and a half clearing out a storage closet with my mother's help (she had some stuff in there too) and packing things for the new apartment This list has really gottenThis list has really gotten slow lately. Becky, sounds like a busy day! Heidi, mulch for hair! LOL! I enjoyed a nice day at home yesterday (yay!). No practices, no games, no other committments except for me and my beloved Braves game and a Margarita. No, not alone. But just home. Braves went to 14 or 15 innings! But we won (finally, my husband was driving me nuts about how he wanted to change the channel. He is not a sports fan. I have that dept.) Yesterday we cleaned the garage. We took out two trailer loads of stuff (some trash, some to store in the house next door that is my storage shed). And we swept it out good. And I've convinced my husband to at least take out the garage door and put on french doors! So that is hopefully the plan this afternoon. to go to Lowes to find or order some doors. yay! Which means when we get those bad boys installed, that room will be weather/sand/rodent/wasp/snake proof and I can work at my own pace on fixing the rest of it up (tile floor, fix and paint walls, beadboard, light fixtures, etc). It's going to be the music/workout/some toys room (weightset is out there, deep freezer, and I'm kicking DH's bass guitar stuff out there so that he's not interupting my TV time when he wants to play). Ok, so, plan for today. Find my desk, again (!?) and get ready to go to town. And hopefully other stuff as well. another busy dayToday my goal is to do as many Flylady emails as possible. Whenever I do a day like that, things always end up looking nicer. Also I might help DH pack up his studio, if he is in the mood for it. Good plan Becky! I haveGood plan Becky!
