For my MIL Comment on this item

MIL has been in ICU, in critical condition, and on a respirator since surgeries (one scheduled, one emergency-about 2 hours after the first) last Wednesday. We are still expecting recovery but know it will be a long road for all. Whatever you say/do to whom/whatever you worship...please add a petition for my dearest MIL. Thinking of you allYour MIL has been through quite a lot, but with all of you pulling for her she'll feel your strength and love. We'll be adding our mite too Lenora, for all her family too. Kerri. Once More ~ with feeling.....Many of you remember that my MIL was critically ill for an extended time this spring and summer (9.5 weeks hospitalized....) she's back in the hospital (now in Clevland) and has just today been "downgraded" from "stable" to "critical"...again. (We're headed into week three of this hospital stay.) Her mental clarity is waning, her heart is stressed and she's dealing with major kidney (failure)issues. DH is tired and stressed, I'm frantic and stressed, and since a new school year for the DDS and me (!) is in full swing...life is a bit complicated all around these days. Pray for us, friends. Sad TodayMy dear MIL passed away at 6:10 this morning (Wednesday, September 13.) DH, D-SIL, and I were with her all night and she was alert enough to know it until shortly after midnight. Around 5:00 am she woke again, and asked for a drink of Coke and for the pictures of my DDS which were (at the time) in a bag in the closet. We are tired and sad, but dealing. My DDs are experiencing their first loss-of-a-loved-one and that, too, is hard. They are young women with much faith, grace, and confidence in the benevolence of God, so that eases it a bit. But it is good that you all were able to say goodbye to her. Sounds like a lady after my own heart, had to have a sip of Coke first! Glad you could be thereit's hard, but it's better than it happening just when you popped out. Hug your girls, and DH too of course.
