That's what FlyLady calls it, right? Well, I had a whole range of mountains in the basement. John and I took it all to the laundromat yesterday and did something like 20 loads of laundry--eight in single load machines all in a row, and 12 in four triple load machines. I feel like I've run a marathon this morning.
But we're mostly--yes mostly--caught up with laundry now and it's all put away. Even better: We ruthlessly pruned. We sent three huge plastic bags to the Goodwill--dropped them off on the way home--and two boxes to two little girls in need of hand-me-downs. One of them is displaced from Katrina. She's getting a new outfit in with the hand-me-downs, courtesy of my folks, who took my girls shopping while John and I had our laundromat "date."
Actually, as dates go, it was a good one. We talked and visited and folded and visited and folded some more. Good.
