[I'm SO SORRY! I sent out a newsletter of gobbledygook--again! I should never do these when I'm tired.--L]

The New Homemaker Newsletter for November 22, 2008

Dear Readers,

Long time no type. What a month! Suffice it to say it's just been a month. yep. pretty much. a month.

We capped off our spring cleaning by tackling a truly amazing backlog of laundry today--something like 20 loads. My folks are in town, so they took the kids to the movies this afternoon while John and I had a date at the laundromat.

While we were folding we went through and got rid of an astonishing amount of stuff. The completely outgrown stuff that was still in decent shape got set aside for a little girl we know; the stuff that was too small for Josie but too big for Lou got set aside for a little girl we know who was displaced in the New Orleans tragedy; and two huge bags of clothes that just needed to go away went to the Goodwill.

We have still more laundry to do, but I can take that a load at a time.
